NO LOOKING BACK

Fields of Gold

LUKE 9:62 JESUS REPLIED “NO ONE WHO PUTS THE HAND TO THE PLOW AND LOOKS BACK IS FIT FOR SERVICE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

As a kid growing up I remember we had an old hand plow to make rows with, though my dad had a tractor he would make us push that plow

,he was teaching us the value of hard work, I can remember running into clumps of hard dirt, roots and rocks…He would say “Just push through it.” He taught us to put our eyes on an object in the distance at keep your focus on it, if you look down your row will be crooked…

This walk is no different. There are times you run into hard spots of discouragement, roots of doubt and rock of loneliness…but you just have to push through it, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith. You’ve put your hand to the plow, you’ve been chosen to push that plow! If you push through, you will find easy ground for the rest before the next hard spot, roots and rocks. I’ve been in this for 20 years and it’s been this way for all those 20 years and will be for the next 20, but you just have to make up your mind to push through the hard place, the roots and the rocks. At the end of your row, you will hear that which you have been plowing to hear “Enter in good and faithful servant.” Then the rest begins.

PLOW AHEAD MY FRIENDS!!! NO LOOKING BACK ALLOWED!!!
